Meet Our Founder

Junia Joseph immigrated to the US 20 years ago in 2003. Over the course of those 20 years in the US she’s had experiences that have carried with them lessons that she believes most, if not all, immigrants would be able to benefit from and will likely serve them well in how they navigate this new world that they’ve yet to uncover.

In that sense, Kisa ou t’a renmen konnen? is really an opportunity for immigrants to come and learn about this new world. They will get to know about resources that is available to them, the value that appreciates with taking advantage of such resources, they’ll be able to wake their minds up to some of the expectations they should and/or shouldn’t have. But it is also an opportunity to listen to them, to hear from them directly kisa yo t’a renmen konnen (what would THEY like to know?).
